Short description
A voiced murder mystery for game night. Two to eight players gather around one screen to question six suspects, crack the locks and name the killer before the road reopens at dawn. No printing, no scripts, no prep.
Long description
Celia Marsh, owner of the Larkspur Hotel, was found dead inside Room 9, a room sealed for twenty years. She was selling the hotel at dawn. A storm has shut the road until 7:30, so the sheriff is stuck down in the valley, guiding your team over the radio. Six suspects are snowed in with you.
Players work as one detective team on a single TV or laptop. Evidence arrives in three waves through the night: letters, photographs, phone logs and a tape recording. Every suspect is fully voiced, remembers what you asked, and reacts when you catch a lie. Locked rooms, drawers and a safe open with codes hidden in the evidence. The case ends with the team laying out the culprit, motive, method, opportunity and proof, and the game scores how well they argued it.
Unlike printable party kits, nobody hosts, reads a script or plays a role. The game runs the night so everyone in the room can play.
